The article analyzes the problem of competence, the history of its development and the results of the research. The content of sociocultural competence is based on the need for its development in future primary school teachers. The article also presents the author's suggestions and recommendations for the development of a corporate system, stages and a pedagogical model for the development of sociocultural competence in future teachers.
