A foreign language teacher as an organizer of intercultural communication

Currently, the problem of teaching a foreign language at school is relevant. Traditionally, it is believed that the success of pedagogical activity depends on knowledge of pedagogy, one’s subject, and mastery of its methodology. A foreign language teacher must have a high level of knowledge of a foreign language; possess linguistic and socio-cultural information, methods of teaching a foreign language and new developments in this field.
