В данной статье анализируются теоретико-методологические основы и практические механизмы развития профессиональной компетентности учителей химии в условиях цифровой образовательной среды. В частности, на основе комплексного подхода рассмотрены проблемы развития педагогических, информационно-коммуникационных и методических компетенций учителя в условиях цифровизации образовательного процесса. В исследовании раскрываются вопросы организации химического образования в рамках современных педагогических парадигм - конструктивистского подхода, компетентностно-ориентированного образования и интеграции STEAM.
