Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of ways to improve architectural education in the context of its modernization. During the formation of the innovative educational paradigm, the competence approach is designated as the leading methodology for the modernization of architectural education. The research substantiates the integrative approach by the methodology of implementing the competence training of future architects in higher education at the present stage.
